Pakistan Flood 2022

HEART’s Response to the 2022 Pakistan Floods

In response to the devastating floods in Pakistan in 2022—a disaster of historic magnitude, statistically considered a once-in-a-century event—HEART provided humanitarian assistance totaling $70,000 CAD.

Direct support of Rs. 25,000 was distributed to flood-affected families across Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. HEART Director Shakeel Abbas personally visited remote and severely affected areas in Sindh and Balochistan to ensure aid was delivered directly to those in need. His travel and related expenses were entirely self-funded.

Likewise, our dedicated volunteers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa generously covered their own costs to support this relief effort. HEART deeply appreciates the commitment and selfless service of all involved.
