MISSION

HEART is dedicated to alleviating human suffering and oppression caused due to natural calamities, social or political disorder, insurgencies or war conditions; all over the world, through helping people to rebuild productive, secure and prosperous communities, by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.


OBJECTIVES

  1. Helping communities affected by natural disasters, social unrest, political crisis, racial disputes and other human emergencies; regardless of race, colour, religion, gender and geographical boundaries.
  2. Provide help and assistance to the affected in rehabilitation efforts and to find necessary resources for immediate support.
  3. Create and maintain an effective network of people and communities we serve, donors, partners, governments, HEART team members and HEART board members.
  4. Create and maintain an effective information system that shall monitor and communicate information about any emergency occurring in the region(s) of HEART operations.
  5. Formulate procedures to respond to any emergency in the region(s) of operation.
  6. Provide immediate response to assist, help and implement relief operations in case of emergency.
  7. work in the affected areas through HEART operators, remote workers or providing financial assistance through partner organisations.
  8. Establishing facilities of education, health, civic and other social services for those who are in urgent need for such services.
