MISSION
HEART is dedicated to alleviating human suffering and oppression caused due to natural calamities, social or political disorder, insurgencies or war conditions; all over the world, through helping people to rebuild productive, secure and prosperous communities, by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
OBJECTIVES
- Helping communities affected by natural disasters, social unrest, political crisis, racial disputes and other human emergencies; regardless of race, colour, religion, gender and geographical boundaries.
- Provide help and assistance to the affected in rehabilitation efforts and to find necessary resources for immediate support.
- Create and maintain an effective network of people and communities we serve, donors, partners, governments, HEART team members and HEART board members.
- Create and maintain an effective information system that shall monitor and communicate information about any emergency occurring in the region(s) of HEART operations.
- Formulate procedures to respond to any emergency in the region(s) of operation.
- Provide immediate response to assist, help and implement relief operations in case of emergency.
- work in the affected areas through HEART operators, remote workers or providing financial assistance through partner organisations.
- Establishing facilities of education, health, civic and other social services for those who are in urgent need for such services.
